In 2009, the David Jameson Architect is completing one of their best projects. It is the project of Tea House. The house is located in Bethesda, Maryland, USA. It is built on a 180 square foot of land. The house structure is basically functioned as the tea house, meditation place, and musical recitals for the family. Although the house is not very big and spacious, the place is definitely fabulous and i am pretty sure you are going to love it.
The shape of the house is an absolute square. Its walls are all made of full from floor to ceiling glass, therefore it is transparent and when you are inside, you can have a direct view of your surrounding. The structure is held by a metal structure, which makes this glass building strong as a rock. For overall design, the house is having an impression of Japanese style design which makes it unique and one of the kind.
To reach the house, you will find a stone ladder. The floor of the house is made of the tatami-like floor. Therefore, you will have to take your shoes off before entering it. The lights of this house is a dim and romantic kind. Therefore, it gives a peaceful and sacred impression to the house. And to perfecting the looks of the house, it is surrounded by plenty of greenery. So when you are inside, you will find a great and fresh view of the trees from inside of the house.
