Owners of a stunning contemporary coastal home situated in Almuñécar municipality of the Andalusia Spanish Autonomous Region of Spain seek out help of an interior designer to bring out the best the house’s overall potential, specifically the interior as the exterior has already been perfection. Susanna Cots, a Spanish interior designer, is chosen to work on the project. And it seems, from the look of the photos we have, that the union between the two is a massive success.
The project which is undertaken by the Susanna Cots is named Pure White. The name and the idea behind the name are obvious for both the owners and the designer. Starring white as the main and dominating color, it is their way to try to embrace the surroundings of the house. It was located on top of the cliff and has total view of the sea which means invasion of natural light is a regular.
To blend in and embrace what the area has to offer to them, it is decided that Pure White is suitable. The house itself consists of five areas. Of all of the areas, only the children’s rooms as well as playroom that have splashes of colors other than white. The rest of the house is decorated and furnished in white. It does not have that creepy touch that all white house’s gives to inhabitants and leaves them feeling weighed by the blinding purity as schemes of white are used.
The idea is only to make the house one with the sea, the wind, and the light, not to give too sterile feel. Black carpet is used in the master bedroom for accent. And a bit of colors to give the owners a different feel in their private area. Take a look at our photo collection gallery of the finished Pure White project by Susanna Cots on the house at Almuñécar municipality in Andalusia, Spain.
